President and CEO

Vicente Wright

Vicente Wright has served as President and Chief Executive Officer at California Steel Industries since July 2008. Prior to assuming responsibility for this position, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at California Steel Industries. He is a former President and CEO for CSI, from February 2003 to June 2004, and also served as Executive Vice President, Finance, a position he held from February 1998. At Vale, he held positions as Managing Director of the Iron Ore and Pellet Sales to the Americas and Commercial Administration Department from January 2007 to June 2008. He has served as Managing Director of Rio Doce America, a subsidiary of Companhia Vale do Rio Doce (Vale) located in New York, Steel Division General Manager and Iron Ore Sales General Manager. Mr. Wright was the Purchasing Executive and Slab Marketing Manager at CST. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of CSN, Acominas and Siderar, and of SEAS, a ferro-manganese plant. He served as Chairman of Nova Era Silicon, a ferro-silicon mill. Mr. Wright graduated from Marquette University, Wisconsin, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

Operations

Ted Tamai

Toshiyuki ("Ted") Tamai has served as Executive Vice President, Operations since July 2001. He has been with CSI since 1995, previously holding positions as Manager, Hot Strip Rolling and Finishing Operations, and General Manager, Hot Rolling and Tubular Products. He joined Kawasaki Steel Corporation in 1973, where he most recently served as Manager at the No. 2 Hot Strip Mill at Chiba Works. Prior to joining CSI, he worked as Senior Staff Engineer at AK Steel, Middletown, Ohio. Mr. Tamai graduated from Kyoto University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Commercial

Ricardo Bernardes

Ricardo Bernardes has served as Executive Vice President, Commercial since January 2010. From 2003 to 2009, he served as Chief Financial Officer at California Steel Industries. From 1995 to 2003, he worked at RBS Group (Brazil), a regional multimedia company, most recently as the Executive Director of Business Development. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of the RBS Broadcasting Division, and in other positions of financial and strategic business responsibilities. From 1989 to 1995 he worked at Booz Allen and Hamilton Brazil, an international management and technology consulting firm, where he worked primarily with steel companies in Latin America, and also in business segments such as aerospace, equipment manufacture and automotive. His previous work experience also includes positions in the Production Planning and Cost Analysis departments of Siderurgica Riograndense (a steel mill of Gerdau Group) in Brazil. Mr. Bernardes graduated from Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, and from University of California, Los Angeles, with a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance.

Finance and Administration

Brett Guge

Brett Guge has served as Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration, and Corporate Secretary since January 2010. He has been with CSI since 1997, holding the position of Vice President, Administration and that of Corporate Secretary. From 1994 to 1997, he served as the Manager of Administration of Gallatin Steel. From 1983 to 1994, he was employed by Alcoa, where he held positions as the Superintendent of Industrial Relations and Employment, Supervisor of Employee Relations and Superintendent of Industrial Relations and Training. Mr. Guge graduated from Xavier University with a Master's Degree in Business Administration and from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
